This post was written after Hurricane Ian. Our friends in Naples are doing okay, and we expect everything to be back to normal soon! Some of the locations on this list were damaged, but some are open already, and most have sustained only minor damage and plan to reopen very soon. I have noted on this list of the best places to eat in Naples which restaurants are re-opening soon.

Gumbo Limbo
This is a waterfront seafood restaurant, Gumbo Limbo, is located within the Ritz Carlton. It is considered one of the best places to eat in Naples.
Many of the dishes on the menu are prepared with fresh seafood. Their specialty dishes include grouper tacos and lobster quesadillas.
They also have a fabulous cocktail list. This ensures you can always find the perfect drink for your meal.
This restaurant is currently closed and will be reopening in 2023.
Ocean Prime
Ocean Prime can be found in the heart of downtown Naples. It is located on 5th Ave S.
You can choose to dine in the main dining room. There is also a seasonal room, private dining area, and lounge to choose from. Views of Fifth Avenue South can be seen from many of the tables.
This is the perfect place to eat if you are craving seafood or steak. Start with their jumbo lump crab cake or Point Judith calamari. Then consider the chilled whole Maine lobster, Chilean sea bass, or filet mignon.
If steak and seafood aren’t your favorites, no worries. Chicken, pork, and lamb are also on the menu.
EJ’s Bayfront Cafe
Whenever you are craving breakfast foods, you must head over to EJ’s Bayfront Cafe. They serve breakfast all day long!
You can never go wrong when you order eggs, pancakes, waffles, or French toast. However, don’t overlook the smoked salmon platter, breakfast burrito, and cinnamon rolls.
If you prefer to eat lunch, look at their lunch menu. You can easily grab one of their burgers or sandwiches.

USS Nemo Restaurant

M Waterfront Grille
Reservations may be necessary when you dine at M Waterfront Grille. This is one of the top restaurants in Naples. Especially for a special occasion.
There are 5 different dining areas within this restaurant. Each one offers spectacular views of Venetian Bay.
This is one of the best Naples restaurants that serves brunch, lunch, and dinner. Great food is available on all their menus. However, it is the brunch menu that will interest you the most.
You will love starting your day with the M egg skillet or lobster roll.
Osteria Tulia

Sails Restaurant
Seafood towers, house-made pasta, and local produce are only a few things that make Sails Restaurant one of the best places to eat in Naples.
The main dining room offers a great atmosphere. The private dining room within a wine-walled cave is a great choice for those special occasions. Reservations are strongly encouraged every night of the week.
The menus are plentiful at this Naples restaurant. They offer a champagne brunch, sunset menu, and bar a la carte. There are even vegan, vegetarian, and kids menus.
If you don’t want to choose from the menus, you should consider the 3-course prix fixe menu. Simply choose one menu item from each category.

Tommy Bahama
Tommy Bahama has been a Third Street South staple since 1995. It was within this Old Naples location where the very first restaurant opened. The rest is history with this popular spot that offers live music.

If you decide to dine here for brunch, bring your appetite. You won’t be able to resist the Maine lobster omelet, Belgian waffle, and loaded tater tots.
Oh, and their famous /76 Bloody Mary Bar is always a hit! You get to create your own Bloody Mary from various vodka options.
T-Michaels Steak and Lobster
This is another waterfront restaurant located on Venetian Bay. T-Michaels is a great option when everyone in your family wants steak or lobster for dinner.
You can also order chicken, lamb, and pork. Or go for one of their vegan dishes.
Ask for a table near the floor-to-ceiling windows if you can. If you get lucky, you may spot a few dolphins out in the bay.
Campiello
This restaurant is not too far from the Naples Pier. The location makes it the perfect spot for a meal. Of course, the delicious Italian food is another reason this is one of the best places to eat in Naples.
The menu changes regularly. This means you always have the chance to try something new.
Don’t forget to head over to the pier for a walk after dinner, especially if you indulge in the delicious deserts!
A few past menu favorites include Campiello meatballs, pappardelle, and balsamic glazed beef.
You may want to simply order dessert when you dine at Campiello unless you can easily choose between the butterscotch budino, limoncello cheesecake, and tiramisu. Maybe a to-go box is in order?!
The Rooster
The Rooster is a few miles from downtown Naples. However, it is worth the journey for the good food and great service.
