Monsters Inc at Hollywood Studios

Have you heard the exciting news? Monsters Inc. is coming to Hollywood Studios! We had a big announcement at D23 from the actor Billy Crystal (Mike Wazowski) announcing that Monsters Inc. Land will be coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! He also performed a version of the film’s “If I Didn’t Have You.”

We will all be invited to visit Monstropolis and tour the “Laugh Factory.” If you remember the scenes with the door vault, there will be a ride based on that. In fact, it’s Disney’s first suspended roller coaster in any Disney Park.

Chairman of Disney Experience, Josh D’Amaro states, “In this new land, humans have been invited to Monstropolis. As part of this experience, you’re going to tour the Laugh Factory.”

Work will begin on the ride and land in 2025. Disney has not yet announced the location of the new land.

Monsters, Inc. themed attractions are currently at Tokyo Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, but this will be a first for Orlando.
