What is 30A?
30A refers to County Road 30A between Panama City and Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This 26-mile stretch along the Gulf of Mexico features many different communities. 30A is loved for its iconic white sand beaches and crystal clear water.
Influencers have popularized the term “30A,” although it’s also known as the “Redneck Riviera.” Technically, it is part of Florida’s Emerald Coast or the panhandle. Whatever you’d like to call it, this is a guide to the best 30A Beaches!
How to get to the 30A Beaches
One of the reasons the 30A beaches are so popular is that you can drive to them fairly easily from most of the southern and some of the mid-western states. If you choose to fly, you can fly into Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) or Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) in Panama City.
You can find direct flights from select cities on Allegiant Airlines, Southwest Airlines, plus the “big three” American, United, and Delta.
If you fly, make sure to rent a car from Discount USA Car Rental. They offer the best prices on rental cars and work with all the major car companies.
